What customers say?

“ Great Korean restaurant, food was absolutely delicious. We ordered pork belly and seafood pancake. The pork belly was larger than expected while the seafood pancake was freshly prepared and arrived hot! This restaurant has a lot of choices for rice wines (makgeolli). The service was also amazing, the servers were friendly and helpful overall. ”

“ This Korean restaurant offers a genuine taste of Korea with its authentic culinary offerings. The Lettuce Wrap Pork Trotters are a delightful surprise. The pork trotters are expertly braised until tender, with a perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors. Dipped to special seasoned bean sauce or shrimp sauce, then wrapped in fresh, crisp lettuce, each bite is a refreshing combination of textures and tastes. Equally impressive is the Potato Rib Soup, an ideal choice for the colder months. This hearty stew is simmered to perfection, with tender ribs and soft potatoes soaking up the rich, umami-packed broth. It warms the soul, making it a comforting winter favorite. Adding to the dining experience is the restaurant's extensive selection of Makgeolli, offering a variety of flavors that perfectly complement the meal. Each sip of this traditional Korean rice wine enhances the dishes, providing a refreshing contrast to their rich flavors. This restaurant is not just a meal; it's a journey to Korea, right in your neighborhood. Whether you're a Korean food aficionado or a curious newcomer, this spot promises an unforgettable culinary adventure. ”

“ Seafood Pancake $149 Korean pancakes should be familiar to all of you, the seafood pancake that I tried has crispy edges, soft and chewy filling. The addition of seafood such as cuttlefish + shrimp and green onion/leeks made the flavour and texture more rich and varied. The homemade sauce is also very flavourful, a bit salty and slightly spicy, which makes the pancake more delicious every time you dip it in. ⁡ Seafood Tofu Soup $103 Tofu is a versatile ingredient that can be enjoyed throughout the year. Besides cooking methods like deep-frying, using tofu to make soup is a wonderful way to enjoy it This Korean seafood soup is refreshing and tangy. Combining various fresh and chewy seafoodenhances the richness of the soup. It often served with a bowl of rice(less spicy). ⁡ Hotpot Beef Bibimbap $120 The portion is suitable for sharing between 1-2 people, and it has an appealing presentation with vibrant colors. It contains a combination of ingredients such as beef, carrots, mushrooms, spinach, bean sprouts, and an egg. The beef is stir-fried to a caramelized color with a sweet and savory flavor. The stone pot is heated well, and when mixed with the Korean spicy sauce, it provides a rich and satisfying taste. Additionally, the rice at the bottom of the pot becomes crispy and adds a delightful texture to the dish. ⁡ Soy Garlic Baby KFC $120 This was a bit disappointing. It seems that the portion size was small compared to the price, and the flavor of the soy sauce/garlic was not outstanding. The chicken skin lacked crispiness, and the meat inside was a bit dry. ”

“ Met friends after work at SSAL BORI SSAL in Tsim Sha Tsui for some Korean comfort food – waited 20 mins on a weekday, but totally worth it! Cozy woodsy vibe like a Seoul backstreet spot, Korean customers and K-dramas on TV made it feel super authentic. Seafood pancake crispy & fresh, clam doenjang soup rich & warming (perfect for cold nights), beef glass noodle stir-fry flavorful & comforting. Shared a bottle of makgeolli – light, bubbly & easy-drinking. Great for relaxed Korean nights! ???????? ”

“ One of the more comprehensive pochas that's available in Hong Kong, with good amount of Makgeolli selection and a variety of local Korean comfort food. Other one would definitely be Apgujeong Tent Bar also in Tsim Sha Tsui. We went in the restaurant before six o'clock on a Friday evening and it was okay without having to get in the queue, but it was quickly and quietly becoming crowded. The Makgeolli is on happy hour everyday from 5.30 to 7.30 and we managed to finish 3 bottles before we were asked to settle the bill at the end of the 90 minutes of dining. The servers weren't most friendly except one waitress that I truly appreciated. This said the food we ordered were very good. ”

“ We had to wait for about half an hour to get into the restaurant but totally worth it. The food was really great. We had the kimchi rice with cheese, the seafood pancakes and the stir fried sundae. The first two plates were ordered by almost all the tables so they must be their best sellers. Both were very delicious and in generous portions. The stir fried sundae was very spicy and really tasteful. We drank maksosa, a smooth combination of makgeolli, soju and Sprite which was unexpectedly nice. The staff was really polite, the place very nice, we were very satisfied with everything!!! Definitely recommend it. ”

“ Yesterday, my colleague saw this Korean restaurant with Korean style decorations today, so they couldn't help but go in and try their fried chicken! When you enter the restaurant, it feels like you are in Korea. The restaurant environment is very comfortable. The furniture and decorations are exactly the same as those in the restaurant. I opened the menu and saw many unique Korean foods. I chose them, which reminded me of the same feeling of traveling to Korea and trying Korean food on a weekly basis. The first thing that caught my eye was the thin seafood bun. It was fragrant, crispy and crispy when bitten, and it was also very delicious. The sauce was sweet and spicy, making it very bite! Zhong has Korean traditional fish cake candy soup, in the form of small fire pot, and there are many fish cake skewers. Zhong has green mouth and small ink fish, which is very delicious. South Korea is most famous for fried chicken, which of course cannot be missed. His fried chicken is a ball of chicken without bones. When we were eating, it turned out that the restaurant was full of people! ”

“ Should be the first few Korean Restaurant in Hong Kong which focuses on different kinds of Korean Rice Wine. The menu does not have many dish options. The garlic fried chicken is like oven heated frozen chicken instead of freshly fried one, and not much soy sauce and garlic flavor. The seafood pancake is quite nice as its crispy texture outside and enough thickness for its soft inside. The pig knuckle and belly plater is quite nice for its tenderness and flavoring. ”
